Today we're in the porch (still on the balcony) as it's windy out and we were being buffeted about. Singing AJ Marshall's "The Whitsun Dance", a moving song which paints a beautiful and heartbreakingly accurate picture of women who lost their menfolk to the first world war. It's taken me years to not weep a little when singing this song, what a combination of sorrow and beauty.
